The breach occurred at Financial Business and Consumer Solutions (FBCS), a debt collection company that works with Comcast. The company terminated its contract with FBCS after discovering the breach.
This is not the first time Comcast has faced data security issues. Last year, a separate breach affected 35 million Xfinity customers due to a security vulnerability.
The latest breach raises concerns about Comcast’s ability to protect customer data. The leaked information could be misused for identity theft, financial fraud, and other malicious activities.
